Perhaps I want someone to tell me the particular event wasn't that big of a deal, I'm over reacting or possibly that they've experienced the same shame as I have. One humiliation most people have endured is having someone walk in on you while using the bathroom. I'm not sure which person is actually more humiliated by this situation, but I think both people lose. Not everyone however, will experience something such as being walked in on while changing a sanitary item. I have and I must say, both people were losers in that situation as well. Immediately afterwards I told a friend about the incident almost as if she were a priest or a therapist that could make everything go away. This was not the case.
